I do believe you must mean a ROTTWEILER. But first let me just say I am sure that there are plenty of people that answer questions here, so, LOSE the language.
I own a Rottweiler, and she is not vicious, nor is she a killer. I would say that by the way you have made your statement that perhaps, just maybe the animal may have been provoked by you, or you possibly had no control over your own pet at the time, and maybe your pet provoked the dog. I think you should read up on dogs and particular breeds. Again, a dog will not attack unless it has been provoked or teased, or harassed. One other thing, maybe you and your pet were close to this dogs home, and the territory he roams, then he was protecting his turf. There had to be an underlying factor for this to have happened, and hopefully you contacted the owner regarding this.
