no. my grandmother has a serious back problem and she has a waterbed. she has to sleep in her chair or on her couch most of the time because the movment of the bed kills her back and makes it hurt worse. Good luck and hope you get better.

No water beds... You need support. The floor is good, or if you love your bed you can put a board under your mattress for more support.. It really does work. never sleep with your legs straight. When you do this you spine is tight and can cause more discomfort.

ask your docter dont ask here depends on the problem though some back injurys go great with water beds

no- i suggest you sleep in the floor since its more straight and will also straighten the back and you may even notice the difference- i just love sleeping in the floor and it also helps my back, since i have back problems and also have flat feet- youll be surprise
