Yes, black can be a sinister color simply that's how we have been condition for centuries. We've been taught to be afraid of the dark. Everything that is evil comes from the dark. So we dread the night and welcomes the dawn. Over the centuries, we come to know that the color black can strike fear in people. We included black furry animals like bats and black cats and we wear black to look sinister. It's the Prince of Light vs the Prince of Darkness argument.
I'll bet so called 'witches' that were burned at the Salem Witch weren't likely to wear black. Maybe their clothes were dirty.
Special forces wear black? Why? Black is sinister.
On the other hand, the Ku Klux Clan wears white? Are they righteous?

The answer is no. And witches do NOT wear black. From Wikipedia... "A sensationalised aspect of Wicca, particularly in Gardnerian Wicca, is the traditional practice of working in the nude, also known as skyclad. Though many Wiccans do perform rituals skyclad, at least on occasion, others do not. In other situations Wiccans may work robed, often in white or black. Cords are worn, indicating rank, among other things.[citation needed] Some wear normal clothes. Even renaissance-faire-type clothing is not uncommon. Still others wear robes with stoles which represent their tradition and/or standing within the tradition."
People who wear all black are either computer geeks who listen to "emo" music or they are Goth. The Goth lifestyle is much less harmful to society as the widespread and widely accepted cult of Christianity.
It's probably safe to assume that you are an extremely active member of the Christian cult community and you have been sheltered away from these "devilish black wearing freaks". You're asking people to defend themselves as though you just spat out a truth and you want to hear how people "defend" themselves. That's hilarious. Get a life.

Not all people who wear all black are satan worshipers or in a vampire cult. Some people just like to wear the color black & in case you didn't know, black is a very slimming color so a lot of women wear it for that reason.

The only reason black is traditionally associated with witches and vampires and other ghoulies and beasties who follow satan is because it was believed that they did their rituals and incantations at night, when it was dark. Black is dark. Scary things at night must wear black. Nowadays, those who are 'gothic' wear mostly black, but they don't necessarily follow Satan. They just have a preoccupation with all things dark and that involve death. Black is generally worn by clergy (nuns and priests) who are definitely not followers of Satan. Those in mourning also wear black, and they aren't generally followers of Satan, either. The weight-conscious might also wear a lot of black, since it is slimming, and they, also, do not necessarily follow Satan. So, as you can see, there are many reasons to wear black which do not involve Satan. You can also see why black can be associated with Satan, as it is associated with night and with death.

Q: Why do all Witches/Wiccans wear black?
A: We all don't. Many Witches/Wiccans actually seem to favor green and/or purple. Black, however, is in many cultures a symbol of clergy. Priests, Ministers and Rabbis all favor black as the main color of their ritual garb.
Scientifically speaking, color is energy. The colors you see are the ones which are reflected and not the ones absorbed. Therefore, what appears to be white, which is the culmination of all colors in the light spectrum, is actually reflecting all colors and absorbing none. What appears to be black, is absorbing all colors and reflecting none. This is evident in the fact that when one is wearing white, one feels cooler - as the fabric is sending the heat energy outward, and when one wears black - the heat energy is absorbed in the cloth that one is wearing, making one feel warmer. Many Witches feel that wearing black attracts and holds more natural energy.

That is about as retarded as any question I have ever seen.
Many religious figures wear black including ministers. Among Church of England black is the color to wear with a white 'dog collar.' Nuns of course frequently wear black.
To suggest that the color of ones clothes needs some kind of defense is just stupid. You seem to be suggesting that all good Christians would wear nothing but white. Quite honestly, that's just silly.

I follow God and not satan. I wear black sometimes but not all black.
The reason why i wear black sometimes? Because it suits me, it also can make one appear more slender than they actually are, and it is a classic.
I hate seeing people wear black all the time or all black. 2 days ago i saw a girl with black short hair, black boots, black jeans, black and silver dog collar with spikes and black leashes. Oh and a black bag. I dont think she follows satan but i do think she has serious problems! Maybe it is a case where satan follows them!

Yes. All people who wear black follow Satan. They were led by the famous "man in black", the late great Johnny Cash.

i love the color black. i wear it all the time.
The fact i worship Satan is entirely different XD
All kidding aside, black is a well loved color and not everyone who wears it all the time worships Satan.. and not everyone who worships Satan wears black.
really, an odd question. Its like figuring anyone who eats ice cream likes Monty Python. Some people who do eat ice cream love Monty python and some don't but it has nothing to do with the ice cream.
