Hard telling really with someone like this either way he is NOT worthy of you so i would not give him the time of day anymore...when he is around i would just act like you really don't even notice him being there...you deserve much better than this.

You are his escape from facing the problems he's having with his gf. You make him "feel" alive again instead of the doom and gloom he feels when he thinks about being accountable to his gf. No, he doesn't have a multiple personality disorder and no, he's not even playing the field... he's just acting immature and irresponsible and is avoiding his current situation instead of dealing with it. If he loves his gf, he would do anything to work things out with her and address them directly with her. His actions of "making sure that you know he has a gf" now is his way of just trying to shift any responsibility to you if anything should ever happen spontaneously with you.... you know... like when he gets caught, he simply say, "Well, she knew I had a gf!" and then you'll be the horrible relationship wrecker...
What to do? Confront him head on. That will shock the hell out of him and either cause him to grow up, or quit sending you confusing signals and playing with your feelings!

I don't see how this is confusing you. If you already have the facts straight, for one he has a girlfriend second he is trying to get as many at bats with other women as he can naturally he is a guy.But if you don't react somone is going to be broken hearted. There's lot's of fish in the sea. Being that you already gave him your number keep him as a friend but at least wait until he is single to take further steps.Besides if he is flirting with you knowing all this who is to say he won't cheat on you when you are with him.

You know what Ms. Maggie when I was reading your question I remember the days when I was in highschool. Your problem now is exactly the problem i've experience before...a guy who is also pays a lot of attention to me, that I thought that he also have a special feeling to me, then suddenly i've heard that he was on a relationship on that time, i thought he was courting me but i was wrong...He have a gf...I was so hurt that time. I just tell myself that many guys will be always be "guys"..They don't know sometimes whose the one they really like...Accdg to them there was a time that who is in front of them then she is the one they like or what.. Ms Maggie just learn how to let him go or just think that this is just a lesson for us girls to don't mind this kind of person...Confront him that you don't want any flirting moment like that with him, that you don't have any time for him..

He is just flirty by nature and he was honest enough to tell you he's not available so you won't get strung. Or he just wants to lay you and by saying he has a girlfriend he has no plans of taking this relationship more than physical lust.
