I'm almost 23. I'm that guy that unfortunately gets told that he is perfect in every which way except 1. For the last 17 months I've known a beautiful (currently 24) woman; whom I've gotten to know closely. We've been roommates. I have not slept with her; I'm not that shallow. I've worked her up from where she used to be; she didn't think she was beautiful; and wasn't with the right guy; so she moved in with me. I'm everything she's wanted at least that's what she's always said, but I'm not tall enough; We've talked about it many times; but she always says I shouldn't wait for her (she never says no) yet anybody that sees us together says were perfect; and think were a couple. We do everything together; and we make each other laugh and know each others secrets. She even told me I knew her better within 3 months than her ex knew in 4 years. I love her unconditionally and would marry her; she can't find Mr. Right no matter how many dates she goes on; because everyone sees her as meat.

a couple of things can help.. mostly high tops for you. There's many surgeries and things that could help as well.
Yet there are MANY short man couples in holliwood! Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise for one. I recommend trying to search for those results. Just remember that love knows no age or height, because when your in love..your both so high.
if a woman can get over herself, then she can change. It just takes that man to do it. Just compliment her legs because Im sure one day if things work out, youd want her to wrap them around you. if it doesnt work out, though move on to someone who can love you for you. I hope you get her though..

Sorry to say, but to have her heart and body fully for you, this seems like a losing battle.
Please trust me when I say this coz I know it's gonna be hard to accept.. ..
The height thing is just a make-up excuse for her to say that she has no attraction for you. It's true that she has a strong affection for you. And she knows that you're too nice to leave her and that you're always going to be available. Whatever she does (have feelings for others, always maintaining contact with other guys/ex, flirts with other guys) you'll always love her unconditionally.
Because of how you're treating her, there's no motivation for her to take the next step further with you. She told you that you shouldn't wait for her? But at the same time she NEVER says no? She's already in her comfort zone dude. Get my drift? Not that she's never thought of settling her life with you, but deep inside, she's worried that later on, when you're a real couple/married, she'll have regrets about her previous bf. Ask any honest girl who's been through this and she'll elaborate about it more to you.
So what to do about this? Leave her alone for a while. Be independant from her for a week. Have fun and hang out with your other friends without inviting her. Hang out with other girls and have a few other girl friends to enjoy time with. Don't explain too much to her. Be a bit mysterious. Don't be too apologetic. See what happens. Then recollect yourself and go from there.

Thats a bit shallow of her,if you dont mind me saying.She should love you for who you are no matter the height or age.If she cant except you for who you are,move on.Dont change anything about you just because one person wants you to,theres a lot of people in this world,and theres one that will like you just the way you are.

Well, yeah. People change, and with it their preferences. But don't hold your breath. It'll take a longer than you'd like. Growth is slow.
