I just had a post relating to a humorous take on Zodiac signs. Not intended to be hateful but intended to create a more humorous side of this forum.

I will continue to post this humorous take on Astrology despite any deletion.

Thank you all for my convictions and strength to stand up to the Nazi Yahoo community.

Then what is the point of posating here?

If you can'thave freedom of speech. Why bother?

But the Yahoo Nazi's allow this censorship to be. So they are responsible as to who ever reports you.

2007-02-06 17:55:53 · update #2

Since they have no control over who reports who. They are being a willfull participent in Censorship.

How would you like it if your posts were deleted due to the fact that your are Black?

No I don't agree to censorship. However, what you must understand is that it isn't Yahoo ... it is the Yahoo users who have been given ridiculous power. If a user doesn't like your question or answer, they can report you, which results in an automatic deletion. It is deleted by a robot, not a Yahoo employee. (They don't have enough time/employees to monitor all the reports of abuse.) If it is a bogus report of abuse, you can reply to their notice of violation and dispute it as a valid question/answer and point out that it is not a violation of the community guidelines. I have repeatedly been credited points for bogus violations. But you must dispute them. And you must realize that if you ever p'ss someone off and they report you, you will be automatically deleted. That's just the way it works here on Y!A. Yeah, it sux, huh?

not ALL censorship is wrong...

I like humor...why dont you post it in the humor category instead of in the spirituality category, see what happens...

AND you should really think about how you throw around the word Nazi when something doesn't go your way...

The Nazi's were a political party founded on occult beliefs and killed and tortured people to try and undertake a world genocide... they are all that represent Hatred in our world. Yahoo is not even close to Nazism...and neither is your mom when she grounds you from your PS2 for getting bad grades...

No i do not agree with you at all , my numerous answers have been deleted but when i think reasonably then i find myself at fault for not being fair to the questioner. If yahoo stops deleting then anyone can post whatever filth they want without any fear.

Good luck with that. Yahoo is a private entity, so there is no such thing as "freedom of speech" unless they want to give it to you.

Which they apparently don't.

If you don't like the Yahoo rules, you're free to go elsewhere. They don't provide this service to cater to everyone's every whim.

They set up the service, they set up the rules under which you can use it. Sorry, that's just the way it is.

Yes, I was just following an interesting question about behemoth in the Bible, and the question was suddenly yanked for a violation. I am not sure what the violation was, I found the question quite interesting.

It is fatuous and insulting to apply the label "Nazi" to anyone who attempts to quell your freedom of expression. Call them fascists, if you must, but learn some history, wouldja?

They deleted my entire account for the 11th commandment question. Nothing dirty or mean about it. It was just a light question.
