Yes Blood is thicker than water. Its thikness is due to presence of different different enzymes, haemoglobin, red blood cells and ofcourse, water. Viscosity of blood is greater than water. So blood is somewhat thicker than water. But they have close viscous coefficients as there is about 85-90% water in blood.

Yes, physically and spiritually. Spiritually means that your "blood relatives" are more important than any other situation might occur with another person(we as humans are 80% water, therefore "water" means anyone other than blood relatives.) Brother protects brother etc..
Physically: Yes, healthy blood does not float, therefore it is heavier than water.

Yes. Blood has nearly 45% of RBC.Blood has WBC,Plasma proteins ,Chemicals,Minerals,Hormones and some toxins. Blood has to be thick.

Technically yeah. Unless you're on blood thinners like Heparin or Coumadin.. then blood would be thinner.
