This a recent post on R&S. Wouldn't this person prefer to do nothing about global climate change and pollution in order to hasten the coming of the end time?

"In the Bible, God tells us that he will put to ruin those who are ruining the earth. He will not allow anyone to destroy it. Armegeddon will come first and then the 1000 years of clean up getting it back into the perfect state that God intended for it."

LOL! You don't even believe in the Bible from the sound of your past questions.

Go buy a Hybrid car if you're so worried about it.

Well I can read the opposite into that and say thier is hope. If Armageddon did happen then finally we would get something done. I do not fear armageddon of any type. I think its exactly what we need in order to move forward and if by some lucky chance I get to stay around afterwards, I would make dam sure this never happens again. I wouldn't write some parable non interpretive verse, I would tell it like it was fact by fact so there would be not debate on the issue for future generations. It would be like putting a fire under our *** and in my opinion its the only way. We do not seem to learn any other way.

So the situation on Earth is supposed to get really bad before Jesus returns. So be it. But that doesn't mean that Man should trash it or bleed it dry. We should care for it because it is a gift from God and we should not be so casual about burning it out. Just as we should always fight for what is right. Peace, love and harmony should be the way the world should be in the year 2007. We should have learned that war is not the answer after WWI WWII Korea, Vietnam and all the rest.

As long as people believe that they don't have to do anything except sit back and let God take control, we are really in a dangerous place.

For one, if God exists, it may be His master plan to let us work it out for ourselves. So if we do nothing and mess up the Earth He may do nothing to help out.

Second, if there is no God, then we are screwed again. Because then we are absolving ourselves of any responsibility assuming that God is going to step in and take control.

So in either case it would behoove us to care, and try to protect our environment.

Sure, man will learn to live and peace and share that natural resource with each other and sacrifice transportation now for the future.

Do you ever notice how many SUVs out there with only one person in it? And humans will save themselves from destroying the world?

At the coming of Jesus Christ, everything that offends will be destroyed with the brightness of His Presence. We all, good and bad will be changed into our spiritual bodies.

We will have the Word of God sealed in our minds and no one will need to be told what to do. Its a time of discipline for the next 1000 years.><>
