Try to keep busy yourself in activities going on inside flight like some beautiful face passing by you ,listening music , looking at TV or even you can engage yr self with passenger sitting beside you.
I mean to say somehow you have forget that you are inside flight think as if you are attending some conference or public gathering.

My friend is an airplane mechanic. He works in Boston but his family lives in Los Angeles. He rides an airplane twice a week for almost 10 years. My neighbor has been a flight attendant for 15 years. He's in an airplane 3 to 4 days a week. I think about these people when I fly. It's safe, it must be considering they have been doing it for so long without any incident at all.

Take deep breaths, bring a relaxing C.D. to listen to(if you can) watch an airplane movie, do anthing to take your mind off of it. If that doesn't work for you, keep reminding yourself that there is nothing to worry about and you will be fine

I close my eyes and I hold any grip around me.
And then, I pray, "God, please...don't let us die....."
