She had a viral flu and her stomach is still irritated. The dr said to give her bland foods that won't bother her stomach. What are a few good foods that she should be able to keep down?

Try the brat diet.... Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, Tea or Toast. Also chicken broth, or 7 up, also mashed potatoes and jello/ jello water (jello water ... hot water like you would use for tea and use a few tablespoons from a box of jello also depends on the your tastes more or less and a lil bit of sugar) drink warm and it helps coat the tummy. Also helps with stomach cramps, ummmm the runs and nausea. Good luck and hope she feels better.

Use the B.R.A.T diet...bananas, rice, applesauce and toast. I'd try toast and applesauce first, and add the rest as she is able to tolerate it. Ginger ale and gatorade are also good as fluids. Crackers, like Ritz or Saltines are good, too. Just give her a small amount at a time; if she eats too much too fast it'll come right back up. Add more as she starts feeling better. Good Luck!!

I just went through the stomach flu with my 3 year old daughter.

White rice, scrambled eggs (not cooked in butter), saltines and flat ginger ale worked for us.

I hope she feels better.

Have you ever tried the BRAT method - Bananas, Rice, Applesauce and Toast. The other person says it's tea but it's toast. Tea by the way may contain caffeine, so avoid.

Plain crackers, plain toast, rice cereal, rice, chicken broth, bananas.. These are the things that my mom(a nurse) always gave us when we were sick (according to the list on our fridge from our pediatrician!!!) And I just saw other people put mashed potatoes and plain cheerios, those are great too!

i was gonna say white rice and salty crackers ( the salt neutralizes her stomach acid) but everyone before me said that so yeah pretty much stick to white starches but no sauce even baked potato, boiled potato or mashed potato
