Of course I know it is the same grape varietial, But there are differences in the the terrior (earth), the heat and wine making processes that change the character . These factors have vast differences between France and Italy.

Pinot Grigio and Pino Gris are the same exact wine! One is in French, the other in Italian.

same difference. they are the same grape. prefer a pinot grigio from italy or a pinot gris from Oregon.
