Question

If i have a column of say 10 random quantities in 10 random sequential cells. How do i vertically reverse the cells. I.e. if i've entered the data upside down and my top cell should be at the bottom and vise-versa.

Highlight starting at the top cell and dragging to the last cell with a value, then click the "Z-to-A" button on the toolbar.

It is a picture of of a red-colored "z" on top of a blue-colored "a" with a black-colored "down" arrow to the right of it.

This only works if your values are sequential going down the column. If your values are going across the rows, it won't work.

1. Add a column next to the one in question
2. Put numbers 1-10 in those cells
3. Select both columns
4. Sort on the new column

make a new column next to the one you want to reverse and put in somthing sequential (a,b,c or 1,2,3) then resort the new column using the reveres sort button. This will reorder the other column as well. If you don't want other colums to be affected, you should cut your original colunm, paste it into a blank sheet, reorder it using the method I mentioned, then paste it back into your original sheet.

I would insert a column next to it, and number that sequentially. then sort those two columns based on the one you entered (select descending as the sort criteria), then delete the column you entered. that should reverse your information.

You Plum next to your numbers put a colum in numerical order high light both collums and press A>Z button at top ,come on get with the times, bet your a scottish oil rig worker stuck on a rig in africa with a gay name like that.
