Waking up at 6 am for a walk around the neighborhood ... bottle of water in hand.
Power walking... about an hour.
Breakfast will consist of fruit and fat free milk, multivitamin, and whole wheat bagel or oatmeal.
Activity and exercises with a small veggie/fruit snack & water before lunch. Lunch ... protein, veggie, fruit, and water.
Small snack before dinner veggie/fruit/protein.
45 minutes of cardio. Water of course.
Dinner- veggie & protein ... grains ... water.
45 minutes of cardio at 7 pm.
No eating after 5 pm unless a light snack as in veggie or fruit.
My goal is 10-15 lbs by march. I have three small children and am a nurse at the same time. I am 23. I think my body is up to it. Is this reasonable? I'm not starving my body ... and I could live off of fruits and veggies.
I had a baby 5 months ago ... and I haven't lost any weight. I've gained.
I feel more tired than usual. My blood work is normal. I think it is weight related. 20 heavier than normal 4 me

I think that in a healthy setting you shouldn't lose any more than a couple of pounds a week, at least that is what my dietician has told me. This is because you are more likely to keep the weight off, burn what you want to burn and not lose too much. Of course if you are extremely over weight, more weight is possible. As you get closer you will reach a state were losing weight will become harder than it was before. From the sound of your height and weight I am sure you will lose it if you stick to what you are doing, and it sounds like you are leading a healthy life for yourself and your children. I wouldn't do cardio at night with any suppliment of food because your body is going to say, "hey I need energy to do this and shes not giving it to me, and store more fat from your food to do this." Your body needs to burn something while it is working out and if doesn't have carbs or something it will of course burn fat like you want it to, but it will also take as much fat as it can get out of all your food and not let you get rid of it. Good luck, sounds to me like your already on the right track that I wish I could get on!

The average 23 year old woman can intake about 2000 calories a day and remain the same weight. 3500 calories= 1 pound. Therefore if you were to eat no calories for 2 days you would lose just over a pound. However, you have to eat at least 1000 calories a day or your body will go into starvation mode, you will lose weight fast, but the second you start eating again your body will build up as much fat as you can completely destroying your prgoress.
if you eat 1000 calories per day, and exercise that amount I would say your daily calorie intake would be around 500. (thats if you really do those exercises you say you will do. That means it will take a bout 3.5 days to lose a pound. 3 wees is 21 days. 21/3.5 = 6. So you can lose about 6 pounds in three weeks and still be healthy.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.
Get started today!

Think about it this way. Jessica Simpson lost 8 pounds in one week and she is a celeb. A normal person should be able to loose 5! (If they work hard!) So you can probably loose 15 pounds in a 3 week period. Good Luck!!
