Do I/How do I ask out a girl that my best friend is dating, but the relationship is on thin ice?

You dont ask out your bestfriend girl, nomatter how bad the relationship is, its the unwritten rules of friendship!

You don't.
Don't be that annoying puppy that waits at the door for his turn to be let in. It's cowardly and not something a real man would do. You're picking at his leftovers by doing so. As a woman, I'm slightly turned off by the fact that you're even considering someone who's not even fresh on the market.
The fact that you're this guy's "friend" should mean something. You should be trying to help him mend things with his girl. Instead, you're being a snivelling little sh't.

YOU DON'T!!!!!! Wait until it is over!!! It is one thing dating a girl that your bro dated but you never ask a girl out that your bro is dating!!! They are two completely different things, trust me, though i am a girl, I do have a husband that had a life once before me. Definately have a little patience and you will get what you want.

I wouldnt ask her out until the relationship is over and cold. You dont want her to only be with you on the rebound. You can leave hint that you are interested by complimenting her and being nice to her.

You don't ask a girl out whom your friend is dating. It's wrong and would ruin both relationsips. If you know you have to be with her, wait it out. And tell your friend about your feelings before you ask the girl.

Wait (If They Do Break Up) A While And If Your Friend Feels Ok Then go for her. But If your friend doesn't feel ok then backoff until he forgot all about her completely

dude thats not good!! lol but i think it would be better to wait till they break-up and then go for the kill :) Oh and about askin her out......all u have to do is talk to her and if the chemistry is right between the 2 of you then there u go ask her out to the movies etc etc....
