I've thought about writing a cute little Valentine card, as this would be a good time to break the ice. Any suggestions?

Sleep with him and then it can't be called dating. It would just be horizontal aerobics without clothes!

I think the card's a great idea (thinking of doing something similar myself). My attitude toward dating at work, where it may be against policy is... if there's a chance for true happiness, the heck with the job. I'll find another. A good relationship is *far* more important and rare than a job is.... of course, this is coming from a guy that met his wife of over 23 years at work... she recently passed away (sigh)

You don't. Work relationships never work out that's why many companies have policies against it. Since yours does, when word gets out you are dating, one of you or both may be fired.

I would invite them to lunch or something casually. Like "hey what are you doing for luch on Friday?

A Valentine could lead things to feeling uncomfortable if she feels it's being too pushy!

GL!
