Yes, we're proud of him, and Jimmy Swaggart, and David Koresh and every crazy haired loony on TBN.
Now don't be silly. Christians are people, who do screw up and need Gods forgiveness just like everyone else. Add to that, the fact that there are people who really arent Christains, they really do just give us a bad name.
Maybe that person loved Jesus and was having a bad day and made a bad choice, OR maybe s/he was just someone who wanted to be mean and put on a christian suit to do it.
What we glory in, is the cross, the fact that Jesus lived a perfect life and shed His innocent blood, paying the penalty for our many sins. We dont have many good reasons to be proud of ourselves, or each other. The only thing we can boast in is the thing that is open to everyone who comes, the power, the love and the forgiveness of Jesus Christ.
