yes, its normal! I posted a similar question after I got engaged and everyone told me it was normal and that I would eventually relax and go through a roller coaster of emotions....and thats what happened. Now we have been engaged for a month and things couldnt be better!!

Yes it is VERY normal to feel this overwhelmed. It doesn't help that you are going to stressed out with your fiance over in Iraq. Maybe that is part of the problem. Maybe you should find a friend, or a family member you can talk to about it. Maybe this same person can help you plan the wedding. Don't do it alone. Maybe keeping busy planning the wedding is that best thing for you. Take it one day and a time. It will be beautiful. Most of all remember what you are doing. The wedding is the first day of the rest of your life together.

Oh, definitely! Don't worry, you are not alone. I live outside of Manhattan and am planning a wedding in Pittsburgh, PA, so with the long distance wedding planning, trying to figure out how the heck we are going to pay for this, the bickering overbearing families...Ahhh! I'm with you!
I keep trying to convince my fiance that we should take off and have a destination wedding with just our immediate families. He isn't going for it:(
I hear that things will work themselves out, so for both of our sakes I sure hope so! Best of luck and congratulations!!!!

Yes, it is normal because a engagement is a big change in your life and a challenge. The wedding is not close but you know your life has changed today and will change more when you get married. You're scared because it is a new situation, a change, it is a human thing

I in basic terms have one infant and that i'm getting overwhelmed, so HELL sure that's generic! you will possibly desire to probable positioned funds right into a nanny/babysitter again 2 or 3x each week to a minimum of help you out, or consistent with probability a housekeeper again as quickly as a month to accomplish a little laundry and consistent with probability wash the flooring. I do. i could flow loopy with out the help of employed help, who're all awesome btw!

Yes it's a normal feeling just don't let it get the better of you. Best wishes and congratulation on your forthcoming nuptials. May God look over and protect your fiance while he is in harms way so we may be safe and care free in our homes.
