I think a large part of it is being peaceable ourselves, and teaching peace. Many people are willing to talk about peace, but then they go and are rude to everyone they meet. But I think we should go beyond just being peaceable to teaching our children about being peaceable and others where possible.

With all due respect......that sounds nice and sweet...and I;m sure Miss America would love to answer it.....but humans aren;t built like that. Neither are any animals that I'm aware of. We are territorial by nature. Humans are not perfect...we will always have conflicts, jealousies, etc. Some conflicts and wars/fights have to be fought. There are things worth dieing and fighting for. Slavery didn't end in the U.S. by nice thoughts and prayers. It ended with violence and force. And half a million deaths.

if we have to contribute to the wordly peace and harmony then first of all we ourselves should be in peace,and should treat others as we treat ourselves.we should have equal respect for every religion,caste or creed.Most important thing is we should elect the right person.

Get others to have personal spiritual experience. We can begin by talking about our own without fear. Once one truly finds the spirit in onesself, and finds peace of mind. He or she will find the spirit in others.

It starts in our own homes and branches out from there. If we raise the next generation to be tolerant and forgiving they can then spread that behavior from there.

Doing small things with great love. In other words, being loving towards people we see every day, and doing nice things that we don't have to do.
