,Genetics is a funny thing, sometimes a breeding like this can give great outcome but not something to be fooled with lightly. Yes there could be problems, not only physically but mentally also. when looking at breeding you need to know all the facts both the dam and sires genetics and even those beyond. In this case what may have happened is an inbreeding, not something many do in normal breeding for traits etc. Breeders at times will make this breeding on purpose for the traits/genetics they are looking for, a lot will line breed and out cross from time to time. Talk to you vet, ask your vet what to look for, instability in both mental and physical traits are what you will need to be concerned with if you do have pups. Here is a good link to look at that may help.

Yes there will be problems. There's a greater chance of clef palates (often fatal), eye deformities, hip dysplacia, deafness, blindness and other genetic problems. This is because the pups would share too similar of genes. Most deformities are homozygous. Therefore, if the puppies got the bad gene from mommy and the bad gene from daddy they've got two copies of the bad gene (resulting in bad genetics). Some of the puppies may be fine, but get them checked out my a vet to make sure. Good luck!

This definitely inbreeding you could have a host of problems ranging from 6 toes to 5 legs to retardation. This is much like it would be in people. If it hasn't been too many days I would sure get her to the vet asap and have him give her an injection to abort. It only takes 64 days for the baby to deliver so you only have a short time to get this taken care of.Then I would have them spade and neutered for safety if you plan to keep both as pets. Please see a vet asap.Good luck!!!!

Your pups could be born with deformities. They can be on the low end of intelligence. It is not good to breed brother and sister. Both of them should have been fixed so this would not happen.

If their parents were not closely related, they will probably be all right, but inbreeding is not a good idea. It increases the chances of a pup having a genetic disorder.
Talk to your vet about it.

Yes, most definitely there could be problems.....See, if maybe it is not to late to have her aborted, then spay and neuter either both or just the male, if you plan on breeding the female in the future. Good Luck with whatever you choose.....

Yes, this weakens the genetics of the dogs and can create genetic deformities. You should have them spayed and neutered after the pups are born.

Yes but it's not advisable because that is still inbreeding. Get them spayed and neutered and then you won't be contributing to the unwanted defective mutts in shelters.

Please don't. For the same reasons as brother and sister humans shouldn't have a child. Two mammals that closely related can lead to a whole series of genetic problems.

I would not recommend letting your two sibling dogs mate. It is said to be the cause of birth defects, diseases, and genetic mutations. Take your dogs to the vet immeadiately and get them fixed so they are not at risk of this happening again.
