I had the exact problem with my last boyfriend, He seemed totally un interested in me after a while and didnt make it a point to talk to me at all really. But I found out later on he was cheating on me with another woman. Things turned out badly in the end. I wasted too much time wondering if I should stay or not, so I would say you should talk to him and bring up the problem. If he still seems uninterested then I would leave. It's much better than sticking around for another year or 5 years and being more hurt in the end. Hope things work out for you!

If you really love him find the way to talk to him and show him that you love him. After five years, I'm sure he loved you or still loves you a lot to be with you for so long. I'm sure you are very important to him still but probably he wants something more serious now maybe getting married or forming a family. If you really love him try to make things more serious now. Talk to him and don't let pride come in between you two. Show him how much you care for him. You still have a chance to work things out with him. Good luck!!!

It is impossible to just simply wake up one morning and realize that you don't love that person you are with anymore. They say it takes a lot of effort to lose someone else's feelings fo you. It can be possible that he still loves you.Love is always there its just that he just don't want to show it anymore. It would be best to talk to him about this. What made him feel this way? Some guys would say they still love you it's just that there is something lacking in the relationship either respect for each other, trust or even passion.

If you want try to work things out, it seems to me that maybe you need to talk to him honestly. If you feel you've mistreated him, admit it and apologize. If that's the issue, he'll let you know. If it isn't, than hopefully he'll let you know what else might be bothering him. You say he thinks he is wasting your time. It sounds like he is giving you a way out. Any idea why he'd make a statement suggestive that he doesn't want for your relationship to be serious? Talk to him. I hope he is honest with you. I also hope that you are honest with yourself about what he tells you. Good luck.

Do you really love him, I mean want to spent the rest of your life with him kind of love?
If you do, drag his butt to counseling telling him you love him way to much to let one bad day on your part ruin your relationship. If he won't go, try to talk more about what you were feeling that day and how sorry you are for being a PIA.
If you don't love him like ^ leave him now.

Drop it like it's hot honey. That would be the day I gave some man the opportunity to treat me like I was the plague. Just watch too as soon as you get another love interest he'll be saying "but baby I looooovvvveeee you". That'll teach 'em.

He is trying to take advantage of the situation. You did something wrong so he is trying to see how much he can milk out of you to make up for your mistake. You can either give him what he wants or ignore him and don't play into his game.

Make up a fake co-worker who's better than him in every way and then write notes to yourself "from him"
