a girl feels flattered and cared about. when a girl is told she is beautiful, its more than saying she's hot, it means whoever said it cares more for her than just her looks.

We love to be told that we are beautiful, at least in the eyes of the man we are with... Being validated as a woman is very important to us..... knowing that at least 1 person in this world sees our individual beauty means more than words can say...... God bless

It really depends on who its coming from. Coming from someone she cares for herself, would make her feel great. If you are just friends and you say that to her, it could make for an awkward situation or just be taken lightly. Another thing is if some creepy guy says it to her, (not saying you're creepy) it could make her feeling really uncomfortable.
For the most part though... It would make a girl feel really good about herself.

Depends on WHO tells her and on WHO the girl is. If it's someone you are close to, it's likely to make her feel wonderful.
If it is someone you have just become acquainted with, the compliment will go through several filters and be shelved for later reference, if needed.

Depends on the girl... for me, sometimes a little embarrassed/self conscious, but most of the time flattered

telling a girl that she's beautiful is one of the best things you can do
never tell her she's hot though
