No one owns a cat.... A cat has a better than though attitude. A cat won't comprise... a cat is spiteful. Make a cat mad and just watch his next move

My cats think I am the Chief Cat but that they have lots of prerogatives. The femaile cat tries to manipulate me, much less so as time goes on (has she succeeded?).
Many people are certain the cat thinks it is the boss.
If they really love and trust you, they will often do what you say, but NEVER always, like a dog will, at least one who is well trained.
I think dogs are really motivated into pleasing their owners.
Both cats and dogs like attention, like to play with humans, and like to be greeted. But this is more true for dogs.
For those who do not think it is true for cats though, I have NEWS: You are very wrong.
Any doubts, come see me and my cats.

I own my cat. Or rather, I DID own my cat before I moved out of the family house. Now she's so miserable without me that she immediately dashes for me whenever I visit. "LOVE ME!!!!!" she screams whenever she scampers to me (and scampering is something this cat does not normally do). She knows that I wear the pants in this relationship. lol

I think I own my cats, but find that I do everything for them, try to not disturb them, and let them even take over the bed and I get no sleep!

My cat totally owns me.
Totally. She HATES the vacuum cleaner noise. I'm a clean freak. I take the cat to the neighbors every other day so I can vacuum.
Thats just ONE example of MANY.............so, so, many.

Depends on whether the cat is hungry ;)
Seriously, of course we all know the cats own us, and we LOVE it.

Our kitten owns our house, farm, cars, hay-shed etc. but graciously allows us to live here, take care of her and giving her affection. She likes to take the dog and I for a walk in the evenings, has a snooze beside me on the couch in the afternoons, and spends her days hunting mice in the hay shed. When visitors come she ignores them until they go away. I like to think of her as our 'Fodder Quality Control Officer' but she acts like she is 'Queen of the Hay Shed'. Cats are just wonderful. Best wishes.
