What is white priveledge...is there such a thing?

White privilege is the term used to describe the cluster of things that come to those of us who are white automatically because of the color of our skin. Some examples: not being denied an apartment because of race, not being followed for a shoplifter in a store because of race, turning on TV and seeing a majority of people who look like us, being pretty much guaranteed that wherever we go, there are hairdressers/barbers who know how to cut our hair, etc.

White privilege is when white people are granted more privileges than others. I'm not really sure if this exists even now. In the olden days, it was very prevalent though. Eg.: Gandhi being thrown out of his compartment because it was exclusively for white people.

yes, it means that white people have more of a privilage. People are always quick to judge anyone but white.

supposely being white is a privilage because of their race..
