First, ask him how long he wants his hair, and what style he likes. Get a comb and a good pair of sharp scissors. Put a towel around his neck to catch the hair. If you do it outside with him sitting in a chair, then you won't have to sweep up. Next, pull up some hair in the front with the comb and according to the length that he wants, clip the hair sticking out above the combs teeth. Use this technique all over his head. According to the style that he wants, you may cut the hair shorter on top and longer in the back, or however he wants. Some people like to wet the hair b-4 cutting, but I never do. I like to see what it is going to look like when it's dry. You really should try to convince him that he would be better off with a hairdresser while he has enough hair to work with. Maybe after you get done with him, it may be too late for a professional to fix what's left of his hair. Having said that, this is his mess so don't do it unless he promises not to get mad at you for not doing a good job, when you've told him you are not experienced. Oh yeah and don't get too close to his ear or throat with sharp scissors. LOL!

Go back and complain and ask them to carefully straighten it up for you taking off no more then necessary. Get someone over the hair saloon to cut it-only enough to straighten it out. I am letting mine grow to so i am the only one who is going to cut it. It is not easy but i manage. I had this happen to me once-I guess they were not paying attention to the work they were doing and some people can not do a good job of cutting hair. There are some styles where one side is shorter. I want mine even though. Good luck-I bet your hair will grow out faster then mine I think I may start taking Vitamins again for my hair and nails.

I'm trying to guess at what you mean.If the side is short and then it drops down longer without blending maybe you can just have it rounded in to blend it and then trim the longer side to match. Hope you get what I mean.I wish I could see it then I could tell you if that would work. Good luck
PS. I have a bad hair cut too.

really the only thing you can do without ruining it is to cut just as short as you have too. Sorry Hunny
