If it is normal and you are still in pain, something is going on. MRIs do not always show disc problems. The doctors will probably try to pinpoint the spot and use steroids on it to see if it helps. If it doesn't you will be back again. I have disc problems sometimes. I lay on a tennis ball and roll it around the sides of my spine. It helps separate the spine and relieve the pressure. I have had 3 back and neck surgeries. They have helped a lot, especially for my headaches. I have scoliosis too. I have been dealing with this stuff for over 30 years now. I am not a doctor just someone with the same problems. lol I have figured out a way to relieve them.

Back injuries R hard 2 detect a lot of times. I broke my neck & it did not show up on the 1st & 2nd MRIs & sets of x-rays. 18 months they found 2 broken vertebra's 2mm. from losing spinal fluid. Yes it is very likely the missed something. How long ago did U hurt Ur self? Some back injuries they never see because it's nerve damage. Lower back I'm guessing. Have or do U lose felling or any numbness in Ur leg or legs? If U do or have a knot about 4" from Ur spine on the side ( just above the belt line ) Ur leg hurts on, U 4 sure have a pinched nerve. Or any other like stress knots come up & Ur tight, with pain in or around that area is another sign of pinched nerves. Ruptured disc U can't always feel the buldge. All of mine R ruptured due 2 degenerative spinal disease, so I under stand Ur pain. 4 the time being use a heating pad & any of the deep heating rubs will help U with the pain. When they find the problem, try 2 advoid any sugery if at all possible. If U need more information or anything else do not hesitate 2 contact me, I'll be glad 2 tell U more. I've been dealing with my problem since 98. Hope this helps or gives U something 2 think about.
