Go to sleep earlier. Try to plan something that you like to do in the morning. Or, try to slowly open your eyes and relaxingly get up. Don't force yourself because then it becomes harder.

I have the same problem. I've found that if I leave my curtains open, I have an easier time getting up cause of the sunlight. But maybe you get up before dawn.... perhaps set your alarm a little early and then turn on a lamp, so that when you really have to get up, you'll be more awake. Usually I think about how pissed my boss is when I'm late :D

Coffee isn't a good thing to get started on... you'll get used to it and need more to wake up, and if you stop you could get horrible headaches.

Also, I have a harder time getting up if it's cold... so I keep the heat up higher so I don't hide under the covers.

I was raised on a cattle ranch. We had a way of getting "sleep in cowboys" out of bed early in the morning. The cook would take a cattle prod, which is a 3 foot long wand with electrodes on the end that delivers a 14,000 volt shock to whomever the electrodes touch. Have someone slide that under the covers and I'll assure you the sleepyhead will fly out of bed.

I have trouble to. What worked for me was putting the alarm clock in the hall way or other end of the room, so you have to get up and turn it off. Once i get out of bed I need to pee, so I do that and then jump intot eh shower.

Its hard to not hit snooze and go back to sleep, but it works if you really want it to.

Lol, I'm right there with you. I set my alarm 18 minutes ahead so I can hit my snooze twice and still wake up on time. It's stupid I know but it seems to help. I take a very warm shower and hot coffee.

Go to sleep earlier. Exercise more.

If nothing else, put your alarm clock out of arms reach, so you have to get up to turn it off.

You could also do what I do. Set your alarm for 30mins before you actually want to get up, so you can do that "5 more mins" crap until you actually need to get up.
