it doesn't say how long it takes? it just says stir and that's all, no chill, no serve, nothing. I would think all you do is stir and then it's done yet below it it says "for a quicker way do this", how can anything be quicker if the first option has no other steps

I went to my pantry and got a box of instant JELL-O Sugar Free Fat Free Pudding Mix (1 ounce size) out. It says:

5 Minute Pudding Directions:

1. BEAT pudding mix into w cups COLD fat free milk in bowl with wire whisk 2 minutes.
2. POUR at once into individual serving dishes. Pudding will be soft-set and ready to eat within 5 minutes. Makes 4 (1/2 cup) servings.

It also says pudding will not set if made with soy milk.

When I make instant pudding I use a large plastic cup with a lid. I pour in the milk and then the pudding. I stir it a little. Then I shake it for 2 minutes. Then I put it into bowls and let it chill in the fridge for 5 minutes. I know what you mean about the directions. I found this on a box somewhere a long time ago and it works fine.

cornstarch works nicely, like someone already pronounced. also use somewhat extra pudding powder with soy milk, than you may with cows milk. I dont comprehend what variety of instantaneous pudding youre speaking about? does it pick to be cooked in any respect? If certain, then attempt cooking somewhat longer.
