I don't know how old you are, but as a 17 year old I have a LOT of stress. the way I deal with it is that I ride my bike for about 10 miles. or I get on a computer and do what ever. at one point the stress had over run me so much that for 3 weeks I only got 3 hours of sleep a night, and was about to have a heartattack. don't push your self that far.

Everyone deals with stress differently and needs to find what works for them. I find that journaling helps me sort out emotional and psychological stress. Also, aroma therapy helps me to relax both mentally and physically (candles, oils, etc.) Taking a nice long bath- without distraction (which can be hard with children). Guided imagery is another great method I find helps me to relax and clear my mind. However, eating a well-balanced diet, exercise, and plenty of rest (all thngs I find difficult to do) are ways to help avoid stress and deal with stress that comes up. And of course, talking to someone about especially stressful situations is always helpful. You just have to find what works best for you.

Exercise for at least 30 mins each day. Schedule time for yourself to relax by meditating or reading or whatever activity relaxes you.
Find someone to talk to you about what you are stressed out about. You can also keep a journal. It helps to write things out on paper.

Don't keep it bottled up inside. Let it out. I like to have a good cry every now and then. If you have an issue with someone let them know about it, nicely. You'll be surprised at how much better you'll feel.

I pray and talk to my church sisters and the pastor until I get a breakthrough then I leave the problem with God. I have had some really big problems and He always answers when I ask.
