The quotation I live my life by is:

"Madness is as close as saying 'yes' to the wrong impulse." I think about how many people get angry and fly off the handle, and make the decision to hurt someone in an impulsive moment, and I realize how close every person could come to doing something completely insane.

The wonderful thing (and fitting considering the ad for the movie) is that the person who said it . . . was Jim Carrey. No one expects genius from someone like him, but he definitely has it in him.

I feel Dennis Kucinich, presidential candidate in 2004 and currently in 2008 is a wise man..look at his positions on the issues.

Articles have compared him to Ganhdi, Martin Luther King, Lincoln, and Bobby Kennedy..all wise people and populists.

I agree with the initial answer, in the Holy Qur'an it speaks about Job (Ayyub upon him be peace) in arabic. He was a role model for mankind for the test that God gave him throughtout his life and he always had patience and faith.

Also, there were Jesus and Muhammad (upon them be peace), both taught patience with their people. I have learned that Prophet Muhammad taught kindness to women, children and the elderly and he put a special emphasis on the mother by treating with love and kindness as well for the father. He loved charity and sharing food (gathering around and eating from the same food people ate from because God put blessing into the food) He told believers not fear poverty because Satan is the one who worries you about loss of money. He always told believers to hasten to charity and good deeds because it will have a Great effective in the afterlife. Nor would he tell a lie. Lastly, he would command as God commanded to lower one's gaze because that would lead man to a spiritual diseased heart and it would destroyed a man or woman's reputation.

Serj Tankian

Through his media and art he has changed my life by teaching me to use my intellegence and my voice to make a difference, and to be proud of my Armenian heritage.

As I read his book "Cool Gardens", The verses tugged at my intellect and left me in a state of intense introspection.
The upcoming and informative movie Screamers, brings to light the tragedy of Genocide.
Finally, his contributions in the band System of a Down as well as Serart.
