They do .... they all grow at the same speed BUT have different life duration.
The hair on our head has a long life... meaning it does not fall off until has reached certain length.
Ever wonder why guys find it harder to grow long hair.... because their hair has shorter life that the female's one. So the hair just dies and falls off before its any long.
This is the reason why our eye lashes are short .... I think they live 2 weeks and then die. So for two weeks they can only grow certain length and this goes round and round.
The hair on our hands is the same way... It dies after certain time and that's why we never see really long hair on our arms.

You loose a lot of your body heat through your head, so I'm guessing the hairs on your head need to grow fasting and grow more closely to prevent some heat from getting out. (Makes me feel sorry for bald people).

Its evolution.. we used to but as time went by we didn't need the protection on our arms anymore but we do on our heads so we still grow it fast there.

I guess the hair on your hands is exposed to many diffrent environments that are too wild for it to grow, you know!

it has different hair growth and hair follicles...they just arent meant to grow as fast and long..thats the way god wanted it to be

they do but the ones on your arms are finer, and they fall out more

they do u just shave em more so u dont notice as much
