Sorry, I think you'll be late. by the time you rent a car, it's another 30 minutes filling out papers and picking up the car.

You can also call Supershuttle ahead of time so it's waiting for you when you arrive at LAX.

Such a rush, you need to fly in on an earlier flight. If you have a meeting, fly in the night before.

You should be able to make it, but it will be tight. You will need to have a rental car with express check in, so that you can pick up the car and go. It's 27 miles to Whittier from LAX. Fortunately, Friday morning traffic is usually lighter. Take the 105 freeway west to the 605 north, then exit on Beverly Blvd or another exit close by. Most traffic is heading the opposite dirction. Eastbound traffic should be light.

Taxi? I don't think so. Bus? No way.

Good luck!

It has taken me up to two hours to get from the LAX area to Whittier. It can be quicker if you take the 105 to the 605. i too would recommend coming in the day before if you cant be late. Also have you thought about flying in to Ontario? You could take the 60 east and cut over the hills at Colima rd. That might be faster

This sounds like an important business meeting---You are not giving yourself enough time because **** happens---either fly in the night before and stay in Whittier (rent a car) or reschedule your appointment to like 11:00 am...Traffic is totally unpredictable...It would have to go PERFECT for ANY chance of your getting there on time...

Good luck with traffic.....but the easiest way is to take the 105 east to the 605 north and exit on washington blvd. or whittier blvd.

It's a 33 minute drive (well, make that 55 minutes at 7:15). Your best bet is a cab. Bus service is really iffy.

Rental car.
A cab/taxi ride will burn a hole though your pocket.
