Ok so I have difficulty falling asleep almost every night.
I usually just end up watching tv or cleaning or goin on the internet.
I end up falling asleep around 2-5 in the morning and wake up around 12-2 in the afternoon.
I lay down around 10 or 11 o'clock at night with no tv or music. nothing. and yet it takes me a couple hours to fall asleep. and then when i finally do if i hear the sound of a pin drop then BAM im awake.

so my question is do i have insomnia?
im 17/f. [im homeschooloed] but even when i was in school this was a problem.
most of the time i take 1 benadryl and then that helps me but ive been taking it for so long now ive upped it to 2 and yet it takes forever to work.

please help im going craaaazy!!
thanks<3

That's not insomnia. That is DSPS - Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome. The symptoms for it are as you described. Read the wikipedia link for more information about it.

I think you should see the doctor for some medication. OR your pharmacy may be able to try you on some herbal stuff first so you can see how you go.
