So here is the scenario , I have these classmate/group mate that I was chatting w/ because we are doing a report . When were done doing the report , suddenly we got to a different topic(she started it) which is about love life and I thought that she has a boyfriend already because I ask her about the guy she was with often but that guy is just her good friend . And She told me that she is so single that and she said "I am single by choice" .Thanks and she is kind of my type :D but she's 3yrs older and she got a boylet already ...

Unfortunately, it sounds like she's not interested in you. If she was, she would have said "I'm single." It's the "by choice" part that indicates that she isn't seeking a beau.

While she may like you she's still letting you know "don't get any ideas". Yes she's single but it's because she wants to be so just because you two were talking about your love lives doesn't mean she was trying to hint to you in any way. She probably just wants to enjoy the single life right now and hang out w/her friends. It's not that she can't get a man it's that she doesn't want one...atleast not right now.

boylet, now there's a word i had to look up in the dictionary! but hmmm, sounds like she is dating this guy, but for whatever reason, is afraid to officially recognize him as a boyfriend.
single by choice? hmm.. i think she's just trying to say that she's not looking to get serious with anyone.
focus on friendship and see where things lead. if you prove to be a great friend, she may decide she wants to end her singlehood and date you!

Sounds like the girl either wants attention or likes being single and is enjoying being "friends" with whomever she wants without any ties. She could be playing the game like guys do. Open-ended statements like the one she made is the key to uncovering the "friends with everyone" idea :)

i think he's interested. but if your friend says he has a girlfriend then maybe you should stay away until he's single. or maybe you should let your friend tell her friend that he was hitting on you or something like that to break them up. but only if youre really evil. but maybe he deserves it and you shouldnt go out with him at all because he could do the same thing to you.

single by choice means its HER choice to be single.
she might want to remain single, maybe to concentrate on studies, or maybe just to enjoy her single status! you know, date around have fun, etc etc..
OR it could be she just hasn't found someone she really likes yet.
or it could be an excuse for not having a bf at present .
(girls do that sometimes)

I think that she is trying to find a polite way to tell you that she is not interested in a relationship... either that or she just does not want to get involved in a relationship right now

I myself always say that...And means that she have alot to choose from but she choose to be single...So she is not in a hunt or something like despret to find aboyf...Good for her!!! Is no may gals that will feel that way...Is good the way she feels aout herself....
