I'm thinking of teaching english in a foreign country for several months up to a year. There's tons available. I don't really care about the pay. I know this is a question of opinion, but I would love to hear them. Also, if you know of any great programs for living/ working/ volunteering abroad (I'm an adult with a BS in Education), I would appreciate it. Thanks!

I've had friends who loved teaching English in China, Australia and Africa. I enjoyed traveling throughout Europe because there are so many different cultures within a short distance. It all depends on what you would most enjoy. Think about where you'd like to be, and what most interests you. Is there a nation's history that intrigues you? What architecture do you find most beautiful? What cuisine do you love to eat?

If it were me, I'd probably go to France, Germany, or Belgium. They are all wonderful places.

Not china, my uncle went there to teach-just dont go lol. just be carful because of all the things that have been going on over there in Europe (and even USA) what with being kidnapped and sold into sex slavery. its really dangourus so keep your wits about you traveling into any foreign county. I'm still a teenager and im blonde and in a few monthes im going to austria and germany and switzerland and czechslovakia- But thts on a tour so ill be pretty safe- anyway my mom keeps telling me to stay in tthe group and BE CAREFUL. I take that pretty seriously too

You can go to Asia (China, Thailand, Taiwan, etc...) to teach English...

When I was there, they offered me a job to teach for the summer. :)
