Galileo was persecuted by the most fundamentalists of creationists. Maybe if creationism was a NEW and ORIGINAL theory like say evolution when it came out then they could make that analogy, but it's older than the world being center of the universe.

Isn't it funny how evolutionists compare themselves to monkeys?

Creationists are a joke. Most of them have no idea of what evolution is about. They lie a lot with silly falsehoods like men are said to be descended from monkeys, which no scientist claims. Most of them are too dumb to actually read a book abot evolution, except the garbage thrust on them by preachers with an agenda and an axe to grind.

If you want a good laugh, check out www.geocentricity.com, where you will learn that the Earth doesn't rotate on its axis, oh no no no, 'coz the Bible doesn't say it does. And yes, of course the Sun revolves around the Earth, not the Earth around the Sun. But at least they leave out the "fact" that the Earth is flat. This great stuff comes from which State, do you think? Oh, Kansas - why am not surprised?

I have no idea what you are talking about....creationists believe that God created the universe and you. And of course creationism isn't new....how could it be when it is about how God created the world.....and who said this earth, which I assume you mean by "the world" is the "center" of the universe. We have no idea how vast the universe is...it just goes on and on and we have only had a very small picture of its vastness.

How arrogant are we to assume we are the "center" of it.

We are, however important to the Creator...who loves us and wants to know us personally....which is why He went to so much trouble to save us for Him.

God says that the evidence of Him is all around you....and that "the fool, says in his heart there is no God". Maybe you should listen and learn what really matters.

Evolutionary thought in the West dates back to Anaximander(c.610 BCE – c. 546 BCE), and in the East back earlier to the Samkhya philosphy of India. So evolutionary ideas are pretty old, too.

IF evolutionism IS what its cracked up to be....why is it inconsistent?

I can't remember over the last 30 years hearing about ONE ape or monkey becoming a human being....seems pretty inconsistent...you'd think that over billions of years....that would hold water...and that we'd see that happen at LEAST one time...after all..how long have monkeys and apes been here on earth? how is it that they have NEVER evolved into humans in the last 300 years? let alone the last 30?

sounds pretty inconsistent to me...

what DOES seem pretty consistent...is that since Adam and Eve...people have actually reproduced PEOPLE...what a vivid concept...

It is especially funny given that there are still guys arguing that the Earth is flat for the same reason they argue against evolution.
