My girlfriend broke up with me last night. i was devastated and begged for her back. But now today...we got into another argument and it made me realize...this isn't the type of relationship i want to be in. I called her up and told her that i just want to be friends. She started hysterically crying and cursing at me. Asking me why, how, could you do this to me? After 2 years of dating! How could you do this to me after you BEGGED for me back last night. She had ME in tears on the phone. She begged and begged and begged for me to let things work out. At first i said no...but then i said fine we can try to work things out but the truth is deep down i don't want to try anymore. I don't want to make her cry i never intended on hurting her. I don't know what to do...i don't want to call her again tonight she's so upset. She thinks i want to work things out now. Am i giving her mixed messages? What should i do? I don't think i really DO want to work things out anymore!

If you do not want her then you do not want her. It is not fare to you or to her if you do not feel you want to be with her.
It will hurt her now for a little, but it will hurt worse after it gets deeper and you still do not want her and she realizes you do not.
Cut your losses and let it go. You should not feel bad about it if you really are not able to offer her the relationship that she deserves ok.
If He wanted to, God could force us to serve Him. He deserves it,but He loves us enough to allow us to serve Him out of our own free will.
Why should we force someone else to serve us?
Love is not like that.
It may be that it is so close to Valentines Day and no one wants to be a one?

I hope it helps you: Read the poem:

"Now That’s Love"

I know what love is like:
Truly loving someone is giving them the freedom to love you or not
Truly loving yourself is choosing to be someone who uses that freedom to love you
Yea, now that’s love

Relationships come and go, true love only happens once... maybe that's pessimistic but it's also just a part of growing up. If your heart isn't into it anymore then it's time to move on. Remember too that just last night she was the one ready to cut things off... exactly how stable is this sort of relationship?

To be honest, I feel for YOU!!! She was probably more upset that she was made a fool of by taking you back and having it backfire on her this time around........You should tell her the truth. If you truly feel you can't try anymore......which some of us do get to that point, then it's definitely time to let go for good! It's not worth it for either of you. Why waste more tears and time?? If there's nothing left there, then it's over!!!

I agree with zen522. Wait till she calms down, and ask here why she broke up with you last night. Then at least you have a place to start the conversation.

Have a chat with her face to face in a nice romantic restaurant and work things out. Remember not to overreact, stay with pacifism.

aparntly she was just playing with your emotions by breaking up with u and after u didnt want her then she did want you. just tell her the truth that you dont have time for games and you both need to move on.
