I was at a party with my BF and his co-workers. Upon saying goodbye one of them (we met for the first time, he is someone who works with my BF, so not a friend) came over and said to us (addressing me mostly): "He doesn't deserve you". Then, the next day at work, said a similar thing again to my BF: "I cannot believe she is with you" or something like that. I understand the guy was trying to be funny and possibly even trying to compliment me, but it really bothered me. The truth is, my BF is average looking, short and quiet. I'm often told that I'm beautiful. Does the fact that this bothers me mean that I don't really love him or that I'm vain? He is the nicest guy, treats me like a princess. Meanwhile, I have doubts about being with him, partly because he is so average (my mom thinks so too). Any thoughts?

Don't let this guy change your mind maybe because he said this it gave you second thoughts but think to yourself do you have fun with him do you think he is the only man for you or do you look at other guys and think that their hot? And decide if you have an attraction with him, if you do than forget this co worker guy and stick to your bf, but if not maybe you should move on or try to find out what gave you the spark with him in the first place!

Ignore what people say, they could just be jealous, as long as you two are happy together, thats all that matters... Myself, I would be Honored to have a beautiful lady by my side...

Possibly they know the secret and you don't. You can never judge a person through his appearance.
