I am eating at a Mexican restaurant tomorrow for lunch. Can anyone recommend an entree with low points?

just try to stay away from a lot of cheese , sour cream' and and guacamole i recommend just getting a classic taco or two. also be care full when you order salad from places like that some times they have more points then a regular entree. take taco bell for instance. the taco is 3 points and the taco salad is like 23 points . you could also look in the weight watchers dinning out guide under other Mexican restaurant and see if there is a pattern of points in certain foods. if you don't have the guide with you you can also go to the weight watchers web sight. good luck and enjoy your dinner.
p.s. don't stress your self out too much or this diet will become imposable to follow and you won't be able to enjoy it for very long. its OK to treat your self once in a while. i did weight watchers for a while and it works! i lost 53 lbs in 4 and a half months and i cheated every Sunday and ate a regular meal with my family. relax and have fun

beans! Low in points b/c of the high fiber content. Also lay off or go light on the cheese. Chips and salsa are not terribly bad either, but only if the chips are not fried. (which they usually are if it's authentic mexican) Other than that, if you want a meat dish, chicken's a little better than beef, and if you pile up on salsa and lettuce, and not so much of the cheese and sour cream, it should be a fairly low point dish. Also, remember it's mostly about portion control, so maybe have a little snack ahead of time, so you're not too hungry by luch time, and be tempted to overeat. Hope this was helpful!

Hi Pink. Here is a website Weight Watchers doesn't want you to know about.....in fact, the leaders are banned from mentioning it.
The reason is, it lists hundreds of restaurants and how many points menu choices are. Weight Watchers doesn't make money off of it since a lady named Dotti does it for free.

Hope this helps!
