How much water do you drink? If you drink less than a gallon of plain old water every day, chances are your skin LOOKS dehydrated because you ARE dehydrated.
If you ARE drinking enough water, try the old egg yolk treatment once a week.
1.Separate an egg. You can use the clear part in a recipe, or feed it to a pet, or throw it away. You don't need it for this.
2.Beat the egg yolk until light in color.
3.Spread the egg yolk over your face and neck, covering everything except your eyes.
4.Let it dry out completely. It will tighten on your skin and feel kinda freaky, but that's normal; you get used to it.
5.Wash off completely with warm, not hot, water.
6.Pat dry with a clean towel.
You should notice an improvement after just a couple of treatments.
Another thing to consider: what kind of soap are you using to wash your face twice a day? Have you considered Physoderm? It is very gentle and less likely to dry out your skin.
My brother used to use Dial, but he's got cystic acne now. I don't think there's a connection, but why take chances.
Best wishes. Also, if you use cosmetics, only use the good stuff, like MAC etc. Stay away from Avon, they have too much crap like perfume and such added in. A lot of people have bad reactions to it. Cheers.
