Take a piece of sewing tread and tie it around the tag. Put it against your body as tight as you can. It will turn brown in a day or two and fall off without any blood lose. My Dr. told me this so hopefully it will work for you too.

Try the thread string thing, it works because I've done it. Just tie a string around it securely but to where it hurts. The next day it will get hard and it make take 2 or 3 days but it will fall off or you can pull it off (completely painless). They do grow back though it may take a year or so though. There no big deal I used to think it was a mole, lol still might be but I got rid of twice in the last 5 years.

I've never had this done but I'm sure you will be given a local anesthetic for the pain and you will probably just need ibuprofen when you go home from the procedure

I know that its considered elective plastic surgery so the cost is out of your pocket. I've heard of using very fine fishing line to cut them off but infection is a real worry that way.

Skin tags (acrochordons, soft fibromas) are common soft, small, flesh-colored or hyperpigmented, pedunculated lesions, usually multiple and occurring mainly on the neck, axilla, and groin.
Please see the web pages for more details on Skin tags.
