WHat I don't get is what "sophisticated" science they are relying on that tells them how things have changed in the last hundred years. The National Weather Service was in its infancy a hundred years ago. Isaac Kline, the famous Galveston weatherman, predicted with all his sophisticated meteorologic knowledge that it would be impossible for a hurricane to ever hit Galveston... and then came the 1900 hurricane that killed 6,000+ Galvestonians... A little over a hundred years ago, trade winds were still a mystery.
The fact is that a hundred years ago, meteorologic technology was crude and flawed compared to what we have today. So who's to say how many degrees we've gone up since then?
I say, look further back over the weather patterns of a region. In Texas, as long as there's been recorded history in this area, there have been periods of drought, followed by periods of extreme rain... the pattern has continued unchanged over time. I suspect that is the case with all of the world.

Any good "History of Science" will cure a relatively intelligent person with a little honesty of the "Scientism" which has so infected our culture over the last century and a half. I had to pull an over night at work so I listened to M. Savage on the radio debunking the whole "global warming by means of man" argument (New England's getting warmer-not this week and Greenland and Russia are getting colder.) The pseudo-science he was using was the same crap that the junk sci guys use. Just a few months ago he was dogging creationism (An anti-darwinian view.) for being irrational when Darwinism uses the same junk science as globle warming dose. Outside of Charles Lyle's (1800's) book, wear can you show me the jerasic era via scientific method? You can't he tryed to use junk science to debunk junk science. Athough I agree with the guy on much I think his Ph.D from Berkley is usless, becuase he sounds like he reads and learns what he says on the radio before the show. O buy the way Iran="Land of the Iraians" has nothing to do with Nazi Germany. Irians=Iranians its what they were always called persian we get from Horodotus after the Greek hero Persius who is said to have progenitored the Irian nation.

They need to explain why the earth is thriving, people are bigger, taller, better nourished, and healthier today with all the vehicles, industry, and cows screwing up the environment than when there was none of this!

Not only are you confusing "weather" with "climate", but you are assuming that the weatherman undertakes years of research using thousands of dollars to test falsifiable hypotheses, just to tell you it will be sunny on Monday.
Nice try to be clever, though.
