I thought it was pretty cool despite the rain. Maybe the rain made it more sexy and appealing! I saw prince in concert a couple of years ago, so I was excited to see him again. I loved the shadow through the sheet effect :) That was a kick a** stage set too!

First and formost it was freaking pouring down (RAIN) you know that stuff that falls out the sky and you go running because you getting wet?

Second most of these young cats are growning up at a time where they could'nt name 3 groups that actually play instruments and you would understand what was coming out of there mouths...... I was looking for some of these cats to just give like maybe so and so would have done better? If they would had but the walking dead Rolling Stones up there I would have puke again.... The NewYork Times, The Rolling Stone, and every ligit mag in the country Reported they had seen one of the most incredible halftime concerts in NFL superbowl history I agree with them. The Florida AM Band was amazing (In the freaking Rain

Purlpe Rain that is.......

Next year lets have The American Idle review hahahahahhahahahaha

i didn't watch the game, but i tuned in for the halftime show. i thoroughly enjoyed it, as i expected to.

i consider prince to be a great performer, and while the vocals dipped here and there, i thought his covers were short and tasteful. the set was amazing.

the whole 'phallic symbol' debate is kind of silly to me. how long was that curtain up? maybe 10-15 seconds. he was playing a guitar in silhouette, of course it looked vaguely phallic-- consider the placement of the guitar and the movements required to play it.

i didn't much care for the dancers, either, but i generally never do.

overall, i was very pleased with the performance, and would have been disappointed if it had been someone like gwen stefani. i suppose i'm just tired of seeing 'artists' like her.

loved Prince, hated the stupid dancers in black. I personally think Prince is one of the sexiest short men of all time, and I love the fact that he did some old tunes for everybody. I think i would pay thousands and thousands of dollars to hear Prince sing all of his old stuff live, just one more time.

Wondering, after reading some other responses, how anyone could possibly hate Princes old stuff. That is what he is known for, and dare i say, he is a legend in his own right.

I thought it was amazing, one of the best ht shows of all time. He is an amazing artist, and I have been following him since the early 80's when in college. He is so very unique, part of the intrigue, and also, in my opinion so diverse. He keeps to himself, does not like to flaunt in public, and saves that energy for the stage and always puts on a great show!

I thought when his shadow was cast against the sheet, his guitar looked disturbingly like a phallic symbol. I was never much of a Prince fan and thought it was a bit strange to have him as a superbowl show. He is alot like a male version of Madonna in that he is into inciting shock value. I would've rather seen Gwen Stephanie or Nelli Furtado. At least they are easier on the eyes. jason

It was BORING and all my 14 yr old wanted to know is ... WHO'S THAT ??
The wardrobe malfunction has ruined halftime shows forever now.
I also would have rather seen Gwen Stefani or someone more current.

It couldn't of been Prince...It was way too tame. People who were crying about seeing Janet's boob have done nothing but ruin the half-time show.

I never really liked his music that much, but it was nice to see him still doing his thing after all these years. I did like that album with the symbol thing though.
