I honestly dont feel any age is appropriate. I do feel that it depends on how mature and willing the couple is. I would say though that getting married at 30 is acceptable, since the 20's are beneficial to explore yourself and learn who you are and how you handle things. Alot of divorces are caused by adultery... if you do all of the things you want to do before you get married, I believe it allows for a more grounded relationship.

I believe the right age to get married is around 24-26. The reason for this is because by this age almost every decent person have a good understanding of life and where they stand. People who are getting their education are almost done by this time and most are ready to settle down. Or, on the other hand, any age is appropriate that is 18 and up. One has to know when they are ready and need to discuss the situation with a loved one. They should think everything through to figure out if one is ready to handle the responibility.

Age is not a determining factor in when you should get married -- it's when you find the right person and how mature you are with your life choices (job, spouse, funds, etc). You must realize up front all of the responsibilities marriage entails before taking the plunge. Some people are ready to get married at 19 while others aren't the least bit mature enough at 45. It's all in the person, not the age.

For all those who said that you have to be a certain age, say 20 or 24 or whatever, to get married, think about this...Up until about a hundred years ago, people got married quite young. The average age range was 14-19. And 95% of those marriages lasted till death.
I'm not advocating teen marriage. I do say that the age is different for each couple. There is nothing wrong with getting married early in life.

Age? I don't think their is a specific age for an answer. I believe it lies in the moment. Everyone grows at different times. The question should be? Can anyone ever truly be ready for marriage?
Many claim to be but I don't think anyone can truly be ready for the challenge that they need to overcome in order to have a good marriage.
These days divorce is so simple why not get married a few times? AND if your not happy be more then welcome to divorce. Sad as it may seem its the truth. An appropriate age, would lie within their maturity, 19? 34?46?

Personally, the person I choose to marry at 30 was quite different then the one I would've married at 18. And a world apart.
My hubby's little sister met her hubby when she was 17. They now have 4 kids and have been happily married for 14 years.
So, who can really say? Each situation is different. Maturity, trust, and commitment from both partners has alot to do with it, regardless of age.

If you feel that you have to ask the question, then you're probably not ready. When it's time, you'll know that it's the right time, no matter what age you may be...20 or 100 or anywhere in between!

there is no right age to get married. you have to be able to know who you want to spend your life with and know it is who you are marring. Also you have to understand they responsibilities of being marriage, including money, kids, houseing, taxes all that stuff. Also you know that marriage is a real big step and should be a serious comitment.

No magic age. Just find some one who you love and are willing to work with. You can still have fun after marriage, you don't need to "accomplish all you want before marriage." That is ludacris.
