I grind my teeth as well. Unfortunately, I believe it is but a symptom of stress, and while through discipline or dentist aid I could stop, the stress would remain and perhaps manifest itself differently (ie an ulcer). Address your stress sources and resolve those.

Maybe you need something to stop you from being stressed instead. That's most likely why you grind your teeth during the day. I do the same. Take a vitamin that can help prevent the stress. I can't give you any suggestions. Good luck!!

You are too stressed!!!! teeth grinding at night can be due to stress. Try relax before bed. Take a bath or whatever eases the tension 4 ya.
If you do it during the day also, well that's another story. Try lolly pops....
Maybe u have a medical prob that i haven't heard of.

during the day.. chew gum, eat shelled nuts, keep your mouth busy. when you see your self doing it, STOP. inflict pain if you have to (elestac band on wrist works)
at night, this might be a psychological problem, mabey you had some serious trauma in your life, mabey (sorry if I might offend you) you have a problem to addiction. see a medical doctor and consider going on a seditive (a benzodiazapate) to calm your nerves. (klonapin, valium, etc...)

Well id take something you really dont like...Toothpaste?
Apply a tiny bit to your teeth so everytime you bite down then you'll taste toothpaste, or something. I know this is gross, but most things you dont like come in liquids. If all else fails, everytime you grit down, slap yourself. :D

I used to have the same problem. I still catch myself grinding my teeth. But as I have gotten older it has gotten better. So if you are still young as in under 20 then I think that time will make things better if your other then I dunno.

I've used gum myself. The best thing would be to talk to your dentist. Good Luck
