Not always, but it should. Some people are too naturally immature to handle the working world. Hopefully your boyfriend will wise up during his time at college.

Who knows. I graduated last May and feel that I have matured a lot, but guys are different. Guys are about 2-3 years behind girls in Maturity. If you're 23, then guys are emotionally where you were at 20-21. I work with a guy who's 25, "applying to law school," and seriously needs to grow up. Remember, no matter what an amazing man he is, deep down inside he's a little boy, especially when it comes to sports and toys (electronics).

If you don't like his immaturity and it's a major stumbling block in the relationship, then break it off. There are plenty more mature men out there.

it'd better. he's in for a rude awakening if he takes his college mentality out into the real world. he's gonna get way more than he bargained for in the end. good luck!

ID WAIT AND SEE IF HE CAN HOLD A JOB, ( IF YOU WANT TO WAIT THAT LONG) IF HE DOESNT IMPROVE THEN FIND A MORE MATURE INDIVIDUAL AND ONE THAT MAKES YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE AND STABLE
