today my friend and i were in the car and i was talking and usually if I don't understand something she'll put her hand on my arm and say it's okay. anyway today she put her hand on my arm and rested it there. I look down at her hand and then in her eyes and we smile at each other but then something changed. Her eyes widened and her smile disappeared and her mouth opened a little. And right then and there we had an undeniable moment. It felt like we both felt it. but a few seconds later (that felt like an eternity) her phone rings (figures). Her face changed and she takes her hand off my arm and the moment was gone. We both acted like nothing happened and went back to normal. So, my question is: has this happened to you before? If so, did you both recognize it was a moment between you two or was it one sided? How can you tell if the other person felt the same thing as you?

yes we're both women in our mid-twenties.

Dont bring it up, unless you have feelings for her, or unless it happens again...otherwise, you may ruin a great friendship.

Just be up front about it. You two are friends and otherwise it will be weird and you'll just wonder about it.
