The site I have chosen does not allow confetti, rice, bird seed, etc. so I was thinking of having people blow bubbles. However, I've heard that they can stain your dress. I've also seen bubbles that say that they don't stain. Does anyone have any experience with this? I think bubbles would be so pretty at an outdoor garden wedding, but not at the expense of my dress!

I had bubbles at my wedding and they didn't stain my dress, or anything else for that matter! I got mine off of the site for oriental trading. Check them out if you need any little favors or decorations! They have a pretty good size number of wedding items!

Bubbles are great, i saw them at lots of wedding and they are perfect! Yes some bubbles do stain, but thats the cheap kind you would get at the dollar store made for kids and thats all. You can buy wedding bubbles that are great, see if it says anything about staining. Get bubbles that are crystal clear, no fancy colour. All of the weddings i went to that had bubbles didnt get a stain on her dress, so no worries, and go for the bubbles, its fun and beautiful! Great for pictures too!!

I used bubbles at my wedding, and a lot were being blown around, none seemed to stain my dress. I have never heard of bubbles staining a dress. If you are still a little nervous get a piece of cloth similar to your dress and put bubbles on that to see if it stains. Hope this helps...Congrats!

I've seen 3 weddings with bubbles...none have mentioned their dresses were stained afterwards. I've never heard anyone mention the bubbles staining.

It honestly depends on what fabric your dress is made of. Some satins will even show a water spot that is very difficult, if not impossible, to remove. The poorer quality of the fabric, the more likely that is to happen. I would ask at the bridal shop where you purchased the dress. If the satin is a polyester satin, then you could be risking it with bubbles.

The bubbles will not stain unless the bubble liquid is colored, then there is a chance.
