the only reason it wasn;t illegal was becasue they weren't any laws in place at that tiem and .......are you sure it wasn't in the millions?.......but yes we have picked at different countries at different times.........irish was another one........polish.........and lets not forget the native americans.......oh_hell

a bit different...we didn't have chinese people walking across the ocean BY THE MILLIONS into the U.S. You are talking about immigration restriction, NOT about illegal aliens. BIG DIFFERENCE. Do not confuse Legal Immigrants with Illegal Aliens.
