yahh, he could probly sleep over. just tell you parents you will not leave your room once during the night - and dont. believe me. been there done that, not good. tell them this is a chance for them to gain your trust. Dont do anything that will get you in trouble, believe me. & goodluck i hope your parents say yes!

It depends on your parents. Some parents would be okay with it as long as he stayed downstairs, and you stayed up. Some would be uncomfortable with the two of you under the same roof.

My son had a girl spend the night once when he was 18 (just before graduation). I didn't like it, but it was too dangerous (weather) to drive home that night. I wasn't doing the dance of joy over it, but they didn't try anything I would have disapproved of. Even so, I was pretty nervous about it.

My parents would let him sleep over, i would sleep with my mom in my parents bed and my dad would sleep on the floor right outside the door (so if open the door you end up pushing him and waking him up). More likely though, my mom and dad would have his parents spend the night as well or drive him home.

Seeing that all parents of the teens were called and informed of the scenario it sounds fine to me.

If there was a male cousin visiting from out of town and you had a female daughter (his cousin) and he slept on the couch downstairs ~ that sounds fine to me.

If there is concern about the two of them ' sneaking ' around in the night to find each other. . . simply have a very clear, yet lighthearted, talk of this before all turn in for the night reminding them to be respectful of themselves and the parents and to not ' stray ' during the night.

If you are both trustworthy and responsible enough to not ruin your parents trust, there may be a chance that your parents will agree to this.

I cannot give you a definitive answer, as I do not know either of your parents and their rules and regulations.

I think that you are both very lucky at your age to be able to be going to the parade to begin with. Best of luck and have fun.

I don't see why not, if under the care of responsible parents and the two of you don't try to sneak around together. This is how a parent builds trust with their children, if he sleeps over and you two follow all the rules and you stay upstairs in your room and he stays on the couch your parents will see that they can trust you.

If your parents are ok with it, don't mess with their trust. He should stay on the couch all night!! No sneakin up to your room or the other way around. If you screw it up, they won't trust you again for a long, long time. Otherwise his mom is going to have to pick him up.

maybe...and if he does, don't do anything! Cuz if you do something, there goes the chance of EVER being able to see him again! Good luck! And don't do anything that you will regret later!

It's possible I guess. I wouldn't count on it though.
