I'm a tv reporter in Los Angeles and would like to make a story on the subjetc. Anyone knows an interesting case related to hispanic jockeys?

Hispanics tend to be thinner and are able to maintain their weight better (look at what they eat). Also most hispanic jockeys having been racing since they were in grade school because in mexico they can start out match racing horses at an early age. In the U.S. you have to be 16 to race. Hispanics are also really good horsemen as well.

hispanic men are usually built thinner and more petite then most men. the lighter the jockey, the easier for the horse to run, the better. that's why its preferred to have small jockeys... many hispanic men.
